About

A dealership for emerging Japanese craft

en KOGEI is a Japanese art dealership dedicated to introducing the work of emerging Japanese craft artists to collectors and institutions abroad.

"" (en) means connection: between maker and material, between Japan and the world, between artist and collector. (kōgei) is the Japanese word for the crafts, from lacquer and enamel to ceramics, metal and carved wood.

Every work we offer is made entirely by hand using centuries-old techniques, renewed through a contemporary eye. We work directly with each artist and their studio.
